[コンセプト]：序盤はセプターのように動き、スレッショルドの頃合を見計らって《けちな贈り物/Gifts Ungiven》から《独房監禁/Solitary Confinement》《狩猟場/Hunting Grounds》を引っ張って来、《永遠の証人/Eternal Witness》と《起源/Genesis》のギミックで確実に手札に持ってくる。そこからは、煮るなり焼くなりお好きなように。
[検討中のカード]：サイドに《ブリキ通りの悪党/Tin Street Hooligan》追加の《オアリムの詠唱/Orim's Chant》《ブーメラン/Boomerang》
デッキ名の由来はカウンターフェニックス。
《独房監禁/Solitary Confinement》と墓地から手札に戻るカード《起源/Genesis》、カウンターでロックっぽい＝カウンターフェニックスと似ている、という所からこう命名した。
間違ってもカウンターフェニックスと並ぶカッコいい名前を付けたかったからではない。
